Chapter 14

By the time the suns rose over the Planet Blue there was a change in the air. Sarah and Sam woke up to find the dark area where the castle was had now changed. There was very little dark left. The dark forest had become a forest of light like all the others. The only dark left was the castle itself which remained a dark reminder of what had been for centuries and what would always be. The dark clouds were gone too there was suns everywhere. It was a happy day indeed.

“Look at that Sarah! Look at all that blue skies. I can not believe we did it. The evil is gone, the curse is broken from that part of the land. This truly is a Blue Planet indeed!” Sam said excited to his sister. Sarah smiled big right back at him.

The morning was spent having breakfast with the family. Grandpa, Grandma, Sam, Sarah and Sally all ate big heaping piles of food not even thinking twice about it. They had a nice big day planned. They had talked about it the night before.

“So your majesties we are going to stay here for just a few bit longer. If you do not mind we will be staying in the palace for a few days. We want to show Grandma and Sally the things we learned and have some fun before we go home. I do not know when we will be back. But at least me and Sarah will be back to visit soon.” Sam said smiling big.

The King and Queen approved and the group planned their day. Taking sandwiches from the kitchen they made a lunch of food for the day and began their journey. Sir P. had brought over his friend Sir Alex another Pegasus. He was a larger horse and he seemed to be able to fit more than two people. So Grandpa and Grandma went on him. While Sally, Sarah and Sam road on Sir P as always. Off the group went.

First they explored the land piece by piece. Going from the top of the mountains to the bottom. Not even Sam and Sarah had seen ALL the land like this. Sir P and Sir Alex dipped and twirled the group through the sky and showed them parts they had yet to explore. Where creatures lived they had never seen.

Then Sir P took everyone to the Fairy Forest in the sky. Sir Alex climbed high too. Not even Grandpa had seen some of these things this was his first time up there. Sally had never dared to ask. So Sarah and Sam became their guide for all things. It was so much fun.

“Here is Winged Forest. It floats high in the sky and few know where to find it. It is where the pixies and fairies dwell when they are not out and about on Planet Blue.” Sarah said proudly. It was her favorite place to go.

They visited the Mermaids lake and this time actually hung out with mermaids. Sam and Sarah even got in the water and swam with them a little. Laughing and having fun. Grandpa and Grandma were just taking it all in. Sally was trying to get comfortable with all these things. She had spent her whole life or what she thought was her whole life in that village running that store. Now knowing these beautiful kids were hers was a bit overwhelming but they were great kids. She could tell the moment they walked in the doors of the store just a couple of weeks ago.

At the end of the day the group went back to the castle and had a great meal in the castle with the royal family it had a been a fun day indeed.

The next day when the suns were high in the sky the family once again gathered together lunch and their stuff to go out and do some more exploring. They had promised just three days out here and this was the second one.

Today they went to the forest where the fish were in the lake. Everyone wanted to try out a fish so they took turns trying out a fish each.

“Which fish do you want to pick?” Sam asked Sarah. She shrugged. She felt no need for wishes for love for time. She just wanted to chat with them. So she chatted instead when it came to her turn. Everyone else had fun with their fish chatting or making wishes. It was a lovely day.

Then they visited the forest of time where the time stood still. Everyone loved this one. First Grandpa went in and watched his watch stop ticking. Everyone outside was moving but he could not see them all frozen like that. It had been ten minutes and he had no clue at all for him time had stood still. He came out when they grabbed him and told him it was someone else’s turn.

Grandma who had only been to Planet Blue one other time loved the forest. They really had to work to get her out of there to leave with them. It was so much fun. She laughed as they pulled her out. “It has been almost a half hours Grandma why are you still in there? Come out silly!” Sarah was giggling and laughing so hard she could hardly stand.

Sam stood and waited his turn in the forest. He had done it before but it was different with a group of so many people. So he just stood there smiling at them and waving and they could not see anything more than he could. For he stood still like they stood still.

“Were you doing anything? We could just see you standing there! It is so funny I love this forest!” Sam laughed “I was waving at you but I guess you did not see me. You guys always look frozen so its like the opposite I guess of what we see is the thing the other sees too. Too funny!” Sam laughed some more and pushed Sarah to let her have her turn.

Sarah stood there and just tried to see things she had never seen. Things stood still time did. But did the nature things stand still too. She stood staring at the trees wondering if leaves were going to not fall or bugs were not going to crawl. She realized that things went on like normal around her. For the first time she realized that the leaves fell, the bugs crawled, and all was normal but time itself was not. “How strange!” She whispered in ah of what she had just discovered. She could not wait to tell Sam what she had figured out. He was smiling when it was not her turn anymore.

Sally looked especially scared about the forest. No one asked her why. But like everyone else she spent ten minutes in there trying to enjoy herself. She had heard the stories of staying there too long and disappearing. She did not want to disappear not when she found her family and her kids especially. Sam and Sarah needed her. So she did not do much but stand there waiting for her time to be over. She was glad when they told her it was time to go.

Sam and Sarah recalled they had those wings they had yet to try out that the fairies had given them. So they decided next day before anything else to try them out jumping off the castle.

“Lets do it before anyone gets up. It could be fun. I am a bit scared of heights but I think we could do it over the water and it should not be a bad thing at all.” Sarah said smiling at her brother.

While everyone slept in that last fine day the twins got up and took out their wings. They went to the top part of the castle climbing carefully on the roof. Sam was not afraid of heights like Sarah but he was a bit scared it was really high up. He pulled Sarah up and the two of them scampered up the top part of the tower.

“I think we should hold hands and do this together.” Sam said and Sarah agreed smiling at her brother. “Yes let us do it together I do not want to do this alone.”

Standing together and holding hands with wings on and aiming for over the water below the castle Sam and Sarah counted to three and jumped.

At first they were falling farther and farther but the wind caught hold of the wings and they began to sore. They flapped their wings and went higher. Holding hands tightly they soared farther and farther down and then flapped their wings and went up. Sarah squealed with delight. She was having so much fun. Sam laughed he loved it too. Finally they landed quietly on the grass area below.

“Can we do it again Sam? Can we?” Sarah was already trying to climb back up the stairs to go again. Sam followed her. “Okay. Just one more time. You ready?” Sam shouted.

This time they soared higher then last time floating and soaring all at once. Flapping their wings they let go of each others hands and decided to try things on their own. Sam was being more daring then Sarah as he did flips in the air and then soared up again. Sarah just floated and went up and down higher and lower. They stayed in the air longer this time having so much fun. Finally they decided to stop they were getting tired.

“Let us go back to bed and pretend to be asleep.” Sarah said laughing. Sam agreed. “But first lets get in the water and cool off. I am so warm from all that flying!” Sam said. The two peeled out of their clothes and dipped in the water for a few minutes. Feeling much better then dried off and put their clothes back on. By the time they got to bed everyone was still sleep and no one noticed them gone.
A few hours later everyone got up and Sam and Sarah almost forgot about their little adventure. It had been so much fun flying like that. They both thought it was a dream till they realized they were still a bit wet and the wings were still drying outside when they checked. “Cool!” They said together.

On this last day they decided to go to the village. Sally wanted to see who had won her store and give the town a proper good bye not a rushed one. She did have friends there. Then they would go home early the next day. So they planned their day like that.

Sir P and Sir Alex were ready for one last trip around. Miss P had been nice enough to come along this time bringing along their three kids. The three baby Pegasus had grown a lot since Sam and Sarah had last seen them. They all liked to eat grapes and smiled at them with small teeth barely grown in. What a sight to see. Five humans and Six Pegasus flying through the sky towards the town.

They landed just outside. The kids came out and saw them and were very excited to see Sir P and his family. And meet Sir Alex. Alex was like a back up to Sir P and helped out as a guide to the Secret Door travelers. So he knew the kids and town well himself. He usually hung out in the fields outside the town waiting to be called if Sir P could not come. It was rare for more than a few visitors to come from one door and then more come from another door. They did not usually find their way at the same time.

Once in the village Sally led the way through the town. That is when they noticed the building going on. They were adding to the village. On the side where there was a clear area with no houses at all they were building. Several houses already built and shops. There was more shops open too. Everything seemed more happy and cheerful. No one had any idea what was going on. So they decided to ask someone.

Sally was the most known in the town so she went up to her friend Patty who was standing on the corner selling flowers. “Patty. What is going on? Why are they building? Why are there more shops? I have only been gone a few weeks…” Sally looked confused and almost upset. Patty smiled at her friend and paused before speaking.

“Well you would not believe it. We figured out after all you told us that it was the Evil Wizard keeping us down to our small numbers. The moment he was captured and we knew we started building homes and opening shops. Because we knew we could start growing again. People can have kids no fear of a plague that never existed hurting them. Already several people are pregnant. We have people wanting to move in to the buildings. We expect visitors might come stay. We are trying to be prepared. People are happy again so we opened more shops so people can buy stuff again. It has changed so much. Your shop is being run now by Hank. Remember him? He used to run the bakery over there but he gave it to his son when he retired. Well he loved your shop so much I bet you could go and talk to him now he is in now not on his break or anything.” Patty hugged Sally. “It is so good to see you though. We really miss your happy face around here. I am glad you are going to go home with your kids. These are them huh? What are your names again?” Patty turned to Sam and Sarah who were listening in and looking around.

“My name is Sam and this is my twin sister Sarah.” Sarah smiled and shook Pattys hand “nice to meet you.” Patty turned back to Sally and then looked at the twins again. “I can see that you do look a lot like your mother.” Sam and Sarah smiled at her. “Well have fun guys. If you want anything just ask everyone is so excited and happy about what you all did that they will probably give you something free today!”

Sally led the way to her shop. It looked exactly the same. Not even the name was changed. They went inside and Hank was standing by the register. He was an older guy with lots of flowing gray hair and a beard. He smiled at them when he saw who it was. “Sally! You have not left yet? Wow. So good to see you again. I have kept your shop just as you had it. Nothing has changed. It is all the same except I run it now.” Sally gave Hank a hug. Hank smiled and met the family Grandpa, Grandma, Sarah and Sam. Then they gave a tour to their grandparents of the shop the three floors plus the bedroom.

When they were done it was time to go home. It was getting dark they had spent the whole day in the town and their last day here was over.

The next day as the suns rose in the sky the family had their last meal with the royal family. Before they went the kids gave Sam and Sarah a hug good bye and they were crying. Sam and Sarah said to them “We will come back and visit I promise. Do not worry about it.”

Climbing on Sir P and Sir Alex the family waved good bye to the castle and the village as they flew over. They took their time flying to the door to take them home. Before going Sarah and Sam gave Sir P especially a hug good bye trying to not cry. “We will come back I promise. Soon.” Sarah said sniffing. Sam was a boy and he was tough so he did not cry but he did hug the Pegasus good bye too and then gave Sarah a side hug to help her feel better.

The door came open easily as they climbed through. Sally was the last to climb through. Before she did she was nervous she took one more last look around The Blue Planet and prepared herself for going home best she could.

At first there was no change in Sally. She remembered very little of her life here in the first place so she recalled nothing at all.  However the next day when she woke up in the bed by the twins she remembered it all. And she started to cry. She recalled the day she left her husband. She recalled the birth of the twins and how happy they had been. She recalled her teaching job and her life here. She recalled her parents and suddenly wanted to know if they were still alive. She had to ask someone. She recalled it all.

By the time Sam and Sarah had gotten up their mother was crying into a tissue. Sam and Sarah got on either side of her to ask what was wrong. She looked at them one by one touching their heads and whispering “I remember it all…” and that is all Sally said to them.

They spent the rest of the day showing her photo albums and telling her stories. Of all they had done their lives. Their mother who had died in the fire and all about their dad. She recalled for them things they never knew about life before them. Her love for kids and wanting some so badly. How it was hard having twins so young and she did not mean to leave them. She was sad because she had missed so much. They were half way to being teens and here she was just now in their lives at last. She cried some more.

Over the next few days while the kids went to school Sally learned about all kinds of things. She learned her parents were still alive. She wanted to visit them. They thought their daughter was dead. As her husband had declared it. They had even had a funeral for her even if there was no body. She was declared dead and missing. So it would be a shock.

Grandpa and Grandma arranged a meeting with them and told them that their daughter was at the house they could come and see her. They had not seen the twins in a long time. So when Sam and Sarah got home they saw them they were very excited and hugged them both.

“Look at you two. I can not believe how big you are. Such a beautiful set of twins. I am so glad you are doing alright. We want to be a part of your lives too now much as we can. I am sorry for your loss with your father and mother. Now where is our Sally?” Their new Grandma smiled at them both and waited. Sally came around the corner looking nervous and excited same time. She ran and gave them both a hug and started crying again. Sam elbowed Sarah and whispered “now I can see where you get that crying all the time thing from. Is it a girl thing?” Sarah glared at Sam but just watched the happy reunion.

It took a few weeks but Sally was able to get a job teaching. She continued to live in the house with Sam and Sarah with their grandparents. She was welcome to stay and so they were too as they were really the legal guardians. In order for Sally to have them alone she would have to go through a big court thing and she was not ready for that yet.

On the weekends Sarah and Sam continued to visit The Blue Planet. They only went for a few minutes here and there. Sir P had decided their first trip back to show them something. He flew them over to a building in town. It looked new but Sir P said it was a new building but the room itself was old as the planet itself.

“Here is something I forgot to show you when your family was with you. You will enjoy it a lot. It is a room that tells us where every secret door is on your planet. It has a record of who has come and gone here. It tells us everything from how long they stayed, to what they did, who they brought with them. There is a big section in this one book here. It is divided per door. Believe it or not on your planet there are 100 hidden secret doors. Now some are rarely if ever used we figure those were back when they had those doors and buildings got taken down. So those doors do not work. We have at least 75 working doors on your planet all over your world. You guys were our second set of visitors this year alone. We average two sets of doors being used per year. And we average 1 in 10 visitors staying here for good. Look around and have some fun.” Sir P let the kids in the large room.

A map was on the wall showing all the places for doors. They had one for their place it did not show exact location unless you looked in their book. The book for their door had all the information about Grandpas first visit, Dads and theirs. And all the things that happened. The details were great so much they did not know. They spent time in there.

One sunny day a few weeks later Sam and Sarah brought Grandpa, Grandma and Sally back to the Blue Planet for a full day visit. Everyone was excited to see how things had changed two months since they had last been there.

The town had blossomed there were new children. Things had changed, life had changed. It was brighter. The Evil Wizard had continued to be imprisoned. The dragon of his had not been seen since that night but he was alive somewhere in the forest. Life had gone on for Planet Blue and things were looking up for everyone around them.

Sam and Sarah smiled at each other. They had changed so much. It had been six months since they lost their parents in a fire. But they had their mom now and that helped. They missed their parents a lot but it helped having so many people around them to love them and take care of them. And a planet through a secret door that they could visit anytime they wanted.

The End.

Chapter 13

The forces came up the mountain in the night by dawn they had arrived at the gates. Sarah and Sally still unable to speak had to just listen having no idea at all if it was The Evil Wizard come back or what else it could be. They had no idea that a rescue was at hand for them.

Grandpa led the way as the forces blew threw the castle gates. They had brought some good dragons along and in just seconds down came the thing keeping them from coming through. They pounded on the door and the King began to shout inside.

“Evil Wizard come out NOW! We have you surrounded. We are demanding you release your three prisoners. Then come fight us like the man you think you are. Even if you are a beast of a person!” The King paused waiting for a reply or some action. After several minutes when nothing happened as nothing could happen they burst through the doors. Several men were ahead of the King with swords at hand searching the rooms for the wizard or any signs of life.

Finally after search the whole castle they came to the basement and located Sarah and Sally still tied up and gagged trying to get out to speak. Grandpa ran up to Sarah and untied her and took out the gag then did the same to Sally. The King stood with Grandpa waiting to find out what was going on.

Sally and Sarah could not stop coughing at first the gag out had made them cough but finally Sarah spoke for both of them. Sally just listened.

“They left here. He took Sam. He took Sam to OUR world. He wants to destroy all the humans. He thinks he can because he is the most evil wizard. But he could not leave without taking someone that came through the door. He took Sam because I was too upset and they were worried I would call for Sir P. to come to my aid. They left yesterday I do not know what will happen once they get there. I hope our house is still there and they do not succeed…”Sarah gasped for breath.

Grandpa and the King stood looking shocked no one speaking for a minute. Finally the King spoke. “I am so glad you are okay but this news is most disturbing. We must leave at once to your world. But there is a thing the Wizard does not know. I am hoping it is true. It could be rumor. But rumor has it that if you go to your world even if you have powers or anything at all that is from this world like magic or turning into a werewolf it will not work there. If you had a world like ours he could rule, he could kill and destroy but there he will be like a man. He will figure this out eventually. But I still think we should send a few of our men there. I am worried how that will affect everyone else there someone might get the wrong idea…”

When he was done Grandpa hugged Sarah and started to weep. “I am so glad you are both okay. Sally! Oh my Sally! I am so happy to see you. After all these years here you are. You was coming home to us. If he had not gotten you we would have been united now time is changing and we will be noticed soon. That is why I came. It had been a week and even one minute change had made me realize something was wrong. After what happened to Sally I thought you and Sam was going to be stuck here too for good… Yes I think we should take a few of the army men guys with us and the King may come. It is barely light out we may have time to get this sorted out. Let us go now.” Grandpa, Sarah, The King, Sally, and four of his guards all went towards the door to go into planet earth world.

Meanwhile Sam and The Evil Wizard had reached the town. Evil had just raised his wand ready to strike the first sign of life. That early in the morning there was not a lot of people around. They had ended up at one of the parks and just a few people out for morning runs were out. The governors house was near down town Sam had taken his time getting there. But Evil Wizard had finally figured things out and now they had arrived at the house.

Several guys stood outside the house. It was like a mini White House. The governor might not be he president but he still had guards like any other important person in the country in this case state. Two guys stood by the doors and stepped in front of the doors when Sam and the Evil Wizard arrived.

“Excuse me sir? Are you lost? What are you doing here at this hour? Do you have an appointment? If not I am sure they could make you one so you can speak to the…”But The Evil Wizard cut them off. “I do not need an appointment. I am the most evil wizard in my world I have come to kill your governor and all of you. If you do not step aside I will test my powers out on you first!” Sam stepped back worried to be in the way of the powers that would be on display. The two guys stepped closer together and pulled out their guns.

“Drop that stick sir. I am not kidding. Drop it!” The guy was brave Sam gave him that thinking that from a few feet away and behind the wall. He did not want to get shot if nothing else. But why are they treating it like it’s a real wand? Sam wondered.

“I will not drop it!” And with that The Evil Wizard aimed his wand at them to stun or kill them Sam did not know which. But the strangest thing happened. Nothing happened. When nothing happened the Evil Wizard did it again and again. After several tries he looked at Sam confused. At this point the guards had gotten annoyed by all this and simply stated “Okay sir joke is up. You can drop your fake wand no more Harry Potter crap get out of here or we will be forced to get you out!”

Sam took this as a cue to run and run he did all the way back towards the house. The Evil Wizard however would not go easily. Having no idea what was going on the two men forced him off the property. “If you ever and I mean it EVER come here again not even for a visit not even for a tour. I will have you arrested! You got that. No one threatens our governor and gets away with it. Now that I see you are a fake I am letting you off with a warning…” With that the gates were slammed in his face.

Having been defeated the Evil Wizard got really angry and started aiming his wand and all the people he saw. Random people on the streets were just walking by. He aimed it at kids and adults. No one flentched. In fact several kids reached up and said things to him like “Magic! Harry Potter Magic! Oh Hogwarts!” Having no idea what they were talking about he continued to get no affects at all. Finally found his way back to the house he had come in. That evil house. He would burn it down he would do it right then. Soon as he could find another door but where to find one?

Sam had made it to the porch and was huddling on it when Grandpa, The King and several guys in armor came out of the house. It scared him so bad he screamed. Then when he realized who it was he ran and hugged Grandpa.

“I am so happy to see you! The Evil Wizard he…” gasping for air Sam continued “He tried to kill the governor. We went to the doors the CIA or FBI or whatever they stopped him but he could not do it…” gasp “His wand it would not work. He just got so upset and when they were telling us to leave I ran but he is coming this way. Why does it not work? Where is the magic? I saw him use it on The Blue Planet. I do not understand!” Sam looked at the King for help.

“Sam. Good to see you alive. We rescued Sarah and Sally they are safe back at the castle away from the battle that will take place soon as the Wizard makes his way back or if we drag him back it might be easier. You see the world you live in does not believe in magic. It may have existed years ago here but you do not believe in it. Our world does believe in it or it might not survive there either. Okay? So that is what happened. Magic does not exist here. If it was a full moon he could not turn either cause werewolves do not exist. Where magic does not exist it does not work. I am sure he will be upset about this. He will come back and when he does we will be ready. Let us get you back to our world now so you can be with your mother and sister. Your house is okay for now.” The King and his four men along with Grandpa made their way through the house.

Grandma had come in from the backyard right about then. When she saw the men, the King, Sam and Grandpa she had freaked out. Then she realized what it was. “You went to The Blue Planet didn’t you? What is going on?” Grandpa had grabbed her hand and pulled her with him. “I will explain there. Come with us we must get you safe I do not trust this house to be standing much longer. If it is when we get back then it will be if not it just a house….”

Once back on Planet Blue Grandpa, Grandma, Sam, Sarah and Sally all stayed at the Castle. The Queen was there with the kids. Most of the towns people had stayed in their houses afraid for being killed when the battle started. Sir P. was in the barn with his wife.

Soon as the five of them was back together they began to chat with each other. “Sam. Oh Sam. I am so glad you are okay. What happened? Did he kill anyone? Did he win? What is going on out there?” Sarah was crying and hugging her brother. He hugged her back before explaining.

“It is okay Sarah. And Sally. He could not use magic in our world. It does not work there. He will come back here he will. They will fight him. But till then he could be back but till then they want us here to be safe.” Sam smiled at Grandma and gave her and Sally both a hug. The Queen was just smiling behind them but she did not look super happy.

“The Evil Wizard has never gotten through to your world before. He has tried on number of occasions when we have had visitors. He did not know there was that rule about must go with someone from there. Until he kidnapped you. I do not know why he hates you most of all to do this but I am glad you are safe. I think he may already be back if he is not he will be. But he will not win. He is not the only one with magic around here.” The Queen smiled at the grim as she could.  Everyone grew quiet as they heard loud noises right then.

First they heard the sound of yelling. Then they heard the sounds of fighting. There was dragons growling, fire blazing. But they could do nothing. Sam, Sarah, Sally, Grandpa and Grandma stood watching from the tallest tower in the castle far away from the Dark Castle on the other side of Planet Blue. The battle had begun.

First the Evil Wizard had come back. He was so angry and upset the moment he had entered the world where he could now enter alone since he had come through it. He had begun to fire his wand. So happy it worked again he began to catch the forest on fire. The mermaids had been advise he was coming and had sent water flying at the fire. When he realized he could do no damage he went back towards the castle not knowing there were troops outside, and that Sarah and Sally were no longer there. He had given up looking for Sam after Sam had bolted away hours ago.

Soon as he got to towards the castle he had turned into a werewolf. Lucky him it was a full moon and used his powers of the wolf to gallop faster towards the castle to kill Sally and Sarah. It was his every intention to end their lives quickly as possible. But then he saw the troops. Knowing he had to be in full power he turned back into a man because he could do that in this world, and being so powerful he turned back into the evil wizard that he is and began to fight.

“Dark Powers I beg of you to join me. My friends who have faught with me please come to me now!” He began to yell while looking into the forest.

From there several dragons at least ten had come out evil and dark with yellow glowing eyes and snarls on their faces blowing fire everywhere. Along with them had come evil versions of nearly every creature Sam and Sarah had met on the planet. They all came with their glowing yellow eyes, evil faces and willing to fight and die to protect their master the Evil Wizard.

“It has to be a spell! You see the eyes glowing! That is a spell. It has to be. Would these lovely creatures really turn on their planet for him” Sam yelled out to everyone watching. They all shrugged. What could they do from here even if it was a spell. “Those creatures are the enemy now that they are under a spell. They have to have some will or they would not have become his servants.” Said Sally who was the only one from that planet to know something about what was going on. The two guards left to keep watch on everyone did not hear what was going on as they were below watching the door.

Sarah looked upset that innocent creatures were going to die because they could not help themselves. But she said nothing trying to not cry like she always did. She had to be a brave girl from now on no more crying about everything. She hugged Sally instead and tried to not look for a bit. Grandpa patted her back knowing she was upset and why. Grandma did too.

Once all the creatures had gathered with the Evil Wizard they began to fight all the other creatures. Brother against Brother, Sister against Sister. Creatures once related were fighting ones that were no longer related due to their choices. Or a spell. Everyone figured as much it could be a spell but what could they do?

Some of the good wizards thought something up and gathered the group together before the fighting got too intense. “I think I have a plan!” Said a very tall wizard with an orange and yellow tall hat. He smiled down on them. “We should fire our own powers at the creatures. If they are truly under a spell it will break them. They will turn on the evil wizard and we will win for good and more easily then if we just fight them and kill them all!” The group agreed and went back to fighting not to kill but to stun so the wizards had a good aim.

The group of good wizards numbering six total began to aim their wands with specific targets at the evil creatures to see if they were under a spell or under their own will. First they aimed at the greatest and biggest target: the dragons. The ten dragons were blowing fire right and left at everyone and attempting to eat people and creatures too when they could. With all their wands aimed they hit the first dragon with a force that the dragon fell over. It just lay there for a minute or two not moving.

Suddenly it stood back up and the glow was gone in the eyes. Its colors faded back to its original color of purple. It was a girl dragon. And she was not under a spell anymore. Dragons can not speak but she did look at the evil wizard and began to fight against him instead of fighting with him.

In turn the wizards did the same spell to the other nine dragons. Each one falling over a bit longer then the last. But each one turned and went to fight with the good side. All but one. The black dragon that stood closest to Evil Wizard. He had eyes of yellow and red. They realized before they even tried that this was truly an evil dragon the one that The Evil Wizard had trained himself the one he flew on. This dragon was going to die tonight if possible because he was that evil and he was not under a spell!

When the Evil Wizard realized that he was not winning this battle even though every shot at him he backed with his own wand. Even when he tried to turn again and use that to run into the castle he only got so far before he had to turn back as he needed power more than speed. He had an idea and was considering biting people so they could join him. Yes that was the real idea. He turned to his fellow werewolves who had gathered near him at that moment and instructed them to begin to bite the people just the people so they could turn. There is not such thing as a good werewolf. Once bitten they would come and fight with him and he would win he was sure of it.

But the wizards fighting saw them gathering and it occurred to them what was going on. So they instructed all the humans to back away from the battle for a while leaving the wizards and all the creatures to battle. Once they realized they could no longer do the biting on anything but the creatures the werewolves went back to killing and fighting and not biting. But the Evil Wizard has not given up. Even when he realized he had but his only dragon with him. He would not give in that easily.

Sam and Sarah had stood watching this whole time wanting to go help. They could not see everything just some things as they was very far away. They had no powers to go and see themselves. Unless Sir P. could help them? Sarah had thought of it first she wanted to see if Sir P. could fly them over and let them see. But would it be dangerous.

“Could Sir P let us see what is going on? Or would that be dangerous for him?” Sarah asked Sam and everyone else too. Sally thought about it for a minute before saying “Go ask the guards what they think. I do not want to put my children in danger if it is dangerous but I do not see why not he can fly high as the fairy hidden forest I am sure he could do it where you could see.” Sally pushed the kids towards the guards. The guards said the same thing but only if Sir P felt the same way. Now it was up to the Pegasus.

Sir P. was awake with his wife and their new little ones when the kids walked up. “Sir P.! Sir P.! Can you fly us over the battle so we can see better? Please?” Sam and Sarah said together. Sir P. looked at his family. His wife smiled at him so he said “Why not?” And off they flew.

They stayed way above the battle but it was still a better view then the tower. Looking back towards the castle they could see in the distance their grandparents and Sally looking and waving at them. They waved back.

The Evil Wizard was almost giving up. They had killed almost all his creature friends. Even the werewolves lay dead at his side. He had no one left but the dragon and himself. He could change into a wolf run into the forest and hide till they left. This thought dawned on him. Just as he was about to change the others saw his plan and stopped him with a spell. The good wizards all aimed at him same time and stopped him mid change so he went back to being a wizard not a wolf. He was frozen like an ice cube. He was not able to move.

They finally had captured the wizard. They placed him in a special cart and he was unable to move the whole time. They took him off towards the castle prison that was rarely used. They had been working on perfecting a prison just for him. His powers were so great. They had made one they felt would suit him well proof was in the ice magic. Cold works well against the evil heat of this wizard. Sam and Sarah cheered from Sir P. It was over the battle one. The evil wizard was beaten. They could go home and be kids again.

As for the evil dragon that had fought well with his master. He was chained up and taken to the dark forest. There he was left to die. They did not kill him but chained him up explaining he could get out if he wanted and still be okay. Without his master he was not as evil and he would probably not do as much damage but they did not want to kill him because maybe he could be good too someday.

Sam and Sarah flew back to the castle. There would be a celebration feast the next day. The Evil Wizard had been brought to justice. He had yelled and screamed being thrown into the prison for life they told him. Even if he would live forever then he would forever be in the prison. The land was safe again. And that was the reason to celebrate.

The next day a feast was held everyone was invited from the land. The creatures were outside the humans inside. There was food of every kind. Deserts everyone made something to bring except their guests. Everyone ate till they were full.

The King and Queen made a speech that night. “I want to dedicate this feast to Sam, Sarah, Sally, and their grandparents. Without you we would have no cause to celebrate. The Evil Wizard has been truly evil for centuries killing off our humans, hurting our friends, putting spells on our creatures, he should not live. But we have been gracious enough to not kill him for your sake. For the fact is that you have helped us battle and win and we are grateful to you. We fear the dark area no longer for we think it will soon not be so. This world has a reason to celebrate the good that has won over the evil. The battle that has been won. Thank you very coming out here to help us. Thank you for visiting us. Thank you in general. Tomorrow go in peace home take Sally with you your mom and live out your lives. But please do not forget to come visit us often enough.”

Everyone raised their mugs and said “Here, Here!” and cheers went throughout the table. That night the kids could not help but smiling in their sleep.

Chapter 12

Evil laughter was what woke up Sally, Sam and Sarah. They had struggled all night to escape but whoever had kidnapped them knocked them out cold and they woke up the next day to the sound of evil laughter.

Sam struggled first to wake up opening his eyes to see where he was. Looking around he saw he was tided to a chair with strong ropes both his hands and feet were tided. His mouth was covered with something but he could see everything. He saw Sarah and Sally were barely awake themselves. They both had bumps on their heads and looked horrible from the time of struggle. Sam sighed and looked for the source of the laughter.

Sarah looked at Sam the first thing when she woke up. She realized she was tided to a chair and the ropes seemed stronger then the usual ones. Her feet were bound as were her legs and her mouth was covered so she could not scream nor talk or do anything at all. In horror she looked at Sam who finally looked at her mirroring the same facial expression she had on.

Sally was the last to wake up. She looked first at Sarah and then at Sam they were all in the same bad way. Spread out a few feet apart each on a chair. Ropes bounding their feet, hands, and something covering their mouths. All three now awake finally located the source of the evil laughter that had awoken them from being knocked out the night before. It had been one day since this whole kidnapping had began.

With no ability to talk to them Sam began to think. ‘We got here when? Oh no. We got here two days ago. If we do not out of here in five days the time will start ticking by. And a month there will be no point. At least we have our mom if that happens and each other.’ Sam sighed under his mouth piece and closed his eyes.

Sarah was crying. She looked at Sam desperate to talk to the one she could always talk to. Her mom was struggling and starting to cry too she could see it. She looked at the Evil Wizard finally and made eye contact. He was as evil as she could ever have imagined him. Standing there staring at the three of them. He was tall with long stringy gray and white hair. He had bags under his eyes like he never slept and lots of wrinkles. There were yellow eyes like a dog or cats. He was growling at them now as if he was the wolf he turned into. And laughing that horrible laugh again.

Sally had very few things to think about. Except she was with her kids, they were all safe for now. But things could get bad. No one survived when the wizard took them in. She had heard and even witnessed the people being killed by him. They told visitors it was a plague or something else. But really the wizard hated humans since he himself was not one anymore not really. So he had been for years killing them off keeping their number to as close to 100 as possible. And that is what she could never have told the kids till now. She heard stories and witnessed it first hand. This was not just any wizard he was the most evil of all of them so he alone could finish them off and no one would notice. Everyone thought they went home they were so close just inches from the door when he swooped in. Now her kids dear Sam and Sarah would be stuck here for good and no memories of it at all if they survived the next few weeks that is. But who knew?
“Well hello there Sarah and Sam we meet at last. My name is well let me just call myself Evil Wizard. I had a name too once. When I was a kid before I discovered my magic abilities before a werewolf bit me. I was human too. People called me Frank. Yes Frank was my name. Then over the years and I am very old as old as there can be. I began to lose my ability to want to even speak to humans. It is what happens when you lose your ability to stay human. I began to get more and more powerful. Soon no one was able to stop me. I killed off the humans one by one leaving as few as possible alive. I called it a plague if anyone noticed but it was me. I would kidnap them, torture them and kill them right where you are now. So you ask why did I take you from leaving here for good? I knew you would not come back for sometime if ever. You had your mom you were happy. So I did what I could and got all three of you before anyone noticed. Now you will stay here for good. I will kill you, yes I will. I will torture you, yes like you would not believe. But before I do all that I will go to YOUR world. I will get rid of all humans one by one. I am the most powerful wizard in my world and I am sure in yours too. Once I have gotten rid of the chances of one more person finding a stupid secret door I will come back here and will kill you then. But for now sit tight it is going to be a bumpy ride for a while.” Evil Wizard paused for a minute thinking before speaking again.

“It is too bad that stupid rule of you have to be here no more than a week or time moves on or a month and you are stuck here. I do not think a month is long enough to take over your world it could take years. So I guess you will be tortured here long after your memories will be wiped away. I have covered your mouths so you do not speak while I am telling you my evil plans. And you do not yell for anyone can hear you speak even here. Like that stupid Sir P. That silly thing that calls itself a Pegasus. Pegasus should rule the world. They are magical, flying, talking creatures. Yet they seem to like being guides for the stupid humans who invade our lands from earth just to see it all and maybe stay. Ugh you humans! Humans who have been my enemy for centuries, for years. I should do away with every creature on this planet. There should not be any humans but no I have mercy to let all the humans live by keep it low. I feed them to my evil friends from time to time. My dragons are so evil they are almost as bad as me. I have used magic to turn them and keep them this way and they have grown to respect and love me but hate all I hate. Yes my dragons oh yes they are hungry. But I will not give in and give you them this soon not yet. Haha. I must be off…” Evil Wizard turned to walk away but before doing so he turned around one more time.

“Since you are human I am sure you need food, water and all that. Whatever. I am torturing you so just enjoy not having such things. The mouth things will not come off. Unless you find a way to read each others minds then you will not be able to talk to each other in any way. In fact I am tempted to blind fold you but how would I not show you all the things I have done. I am going to sneak now into your world and kill everyone. Starting with your stupid grandparents and blow that house up so you can not get home. Oh I will find another door myself then and only then will I do so or I could not get back here. I have heard stories I truly have of people who went from here to there. It is just like here one month to forget it all unless you are from there like stupid Sally here. Oh yes oh yes I do not want to forget it all. I will see you all in a months time if that. Haha. Good bye my unfortunate human enemies!”
Grandpa noticed the twins not coming back when it had been a week and a minute had passed. He recalled this rule all too well because he had once stayed more than a week and that minute had got him in trouble as his wife had noticed him being gone. Even his son had gone past the minute rule but that was when he was trying to recover Sally so it was forgiven in the end. What is five minutes to find the love of your life? When it had been one minute he got himself ready to go into Blue Planet and find out what was going on. He did not know what he would find but he had to make sure his two grandkids and if she was with them, their mother was alright.

He packed a bag and some waters and dragged it all with him with his food coloring. He would need a guide right? Oh he could get one he was sure one of the Pegasus would be nice enough to help him out. It would be nice to see the King, Queen and all the humans too. He had made so many friends when he was last there and time never seem to age them they did not seem to grow older once they were adults that is. The kids did grow up he knew that one well too as his son used to tell him stories.

Once he entered the world he noticed something different. It seemed darker then he had recalled. The three suns still shown in the sky but they were covered by clouds. The dark area of the planet seemed to have grown. He noticed all this before shutting the door and putting down the coloring. Climbing the mountain was not easy he only got so far and then called for a guide like he recalled to do.

Sir P flew to his side and gasped upon arrival. “Oh my gosh. It is YOU sir. I have not seen you in so long. I am so happy. I was only a baby when we met. Do you recall me? My name now is Sir P but back then it was Little P.” He smiled big up at Grandpa. Grandpa was frowning and thinking before replying. “Oh yes. You was just a baby. I recall you was just a weeks old when I last saw you. How have you been? Are you the main guide here now? You must know my grand kids Sam and Sarah?” Grandpa smiled at him but Sir P frowned.

“You do not know what has happened do you not? I am sure since you are here that you must know something is wrong. Sally went with Sam and Sarah to go through to their world. We see all things but the one thing we can not see is when evil things happen it blinds us. We saw the three of them about to enter your world a week ago. Then when the Evil Wizard came in front of them they disappeared we feared the worst. But none of us have been able to get up there yet to the castle. That is where we fear they are. I do not know what his plan is but all humans he has stolen from us never come back alive. He has it in for us for a while even worse then when you used to come. He seems to hate all creatures especially humans and more and more have been going missing over the years. He keeps us down to 100. When you came here they had 300 in the village I was told most of this when I got a bit older how every year so many died mysteriously but none would tell me the truth the tortures, the screaming the kidnapping, the deaths by the wizard. He has not bothered anyone in sometime especially not any visitors but he took a liking to the twins from day one and so this was a surprise but not as much a shock as any.” Sir P frowned again looking towards the evil castle.

“We fear the worse for them because whenever Evil Wizard has taken someone our world grows darker and the skies grow grayer. We get more rain. His part of the planet has grown again and now you are here so I hope we can rescue them before it is too late. That is if it not too late already. Do you want to talk to the King and Queen. I am sure they will talk to you if you like.” Sir P. waited for Grandpa to speak.

Grandpa looked worried towards the castle and then back at Sir P thinking to himself. Finally he spoke. “Yes that is the best thing take me to the castle we must figure things out. We must rescue them and this wizard must be stopped for good there has to be a way.”

Flying as quick as possible Sir P dropped Grandpa off at the gate. Once announced he walked into the courts where the King and Queen welcomed him but not with smiles like they always did. The kids were standing on the side looking sad and afraid.

“Hello again. Welcome back. I am sorry to say you have come at such a horrible time. I am sure Sir P has caught you up on your grandkids, and on dear Sally. We wanted you to come here so we could speak to you about all this and figure out what you want to do next. We have been working on gathering our best fighting men together. Our army that protects us here at the castle is small we only have about twenty soldiers but they are willing to come. We have been speaking with all the creatures of the land having them gather their best fighters so we can fight the wizard but I fear we must move quickly I do not know how much longer those three will be alive. A week is a long time in our world so much could have happened by now.” The King stopped and looked at the Queen and his kids worried still.

Grandpa looked at them all and simply replied “We must fight. They are good people. We must win. That evil wizard can no longer live here. This is something we must do. I wish I knew his plans. Let us gather, let us fight please let us win this!”

A meeting was called that day and all creatures sent their best leaders to help figure things out. They talked for sometime and made a plan they thought was best. In two days they would gather together at the bottom of the hill and descend on the castle to fight the wizard.

Meanwhile the Evil Wizard had not been able to leave yet. He had tried on several attempts to exit through the secret door. But the door had not opened to him. He could not pull it open so he had finally pulled the cloth off the mouth of Sam and Sarah to find out why it would not work he had to know. He had to get to their world!

“You MUST tell me. Why can I not enter your world? I have never tried before but there has to be a reason why. Tell me. Tell me NOW!” He screamed at them waiting for them to reply. But they had no answer. For they had both been thinking about it since they had heard when he left and could not leave them for good. They knew the reply but would not say.

When they had not replied he glared at them both and laughed evil suddenly. “Well if you wont tell me I will do this much. I will kill your mother right here in front of you. I will do it now. Then I will FORCE you tell me. I have magic beyond belief and it will not be hard to force you tell me what I need to know. So either tell me on your own or I will force it out of you after Sally is dead. Do I make myself clear.” Pointing his wand right at Sally making his point he waited for them to reply.

Sarah started crying again and was unable to speak. While Sam looked at her he finally spoke for the first time in a week it felt strange speaking when he had not spoke at all. “Okay.” He gasped man speaking felt strange. “I will tell you. From what we gather is that if you are not from our world you need someone who is from there that came from there to take you. So one of us would have to go with you. Sally was only able to come with us because we was taking her. So you must take someone and I think you should take me. I do not think Sarah would make it she is too much a mess. You stupid evil thing are stressing her out. She is such a fragile thing look at her crying over there. Just let us go and forget this plan it is not going to work. You will never rule our world we have forces, we have armies we have battles. We have had wars before you really think one ‘wizard’ will rule us ALL? NO way!” Sam shouted at him struggling in his ropes. Tired, hungry, thirsty all rolled up finally had hit Sam at one time making him extra angry.

The Evil Wizard laughing again. “Stupid boy. Of course I will rule I do not care for your human weapons your guns, your swords, your knives. I will win with a wand I will win with my powers. I will win because I have gaining power with every kill of you stupid humans. I know if I keep killing I will keep winning it is how I work you stupid child. So I will drag you with me them. You will be my guide to your world. So do not think about it twice of running away. Of leaving me. Tomorrow we leave. Yes tomorrow we leave. But I guess you need your stupid strength so tonight you will all get food and water. I do not want you dying on me before I get back or you dying on me before we get to the door. Haha.” The Evil Wizard left bringing back some cold food and dirty water and throwing it down at their feet before untying their arms so they could eat and drink.

The next day the forces at the castle were gathering together preparing to battle when it was dawn of the next day. They had decided it would be best to start up the mountain when it was dark and get there to begin before it was barely light. Even if it was dangerous the creatures in those forest were almost as evil as the wizard. That is where the werewolves lived and not one creature from Blue Planet wanted to be like the wizard and turn to a wolf every full moon.

Grandpa had been trying to stay brave not knowing what would happen to his grandkids, his daughter in law or any of the friends he had here on this planet. These people he looked into their eyes were the ones to befriend him on us adventures here. He had loved them so much and hated not coming back when he finally had left for good. Now he was back and the reunion was not a joyous one at all it was too harsh to think about it.

As the suns climbed the sky that day the Evil Wizard was preparing for his invasion onto Planet Earth. He had just untied Sam and was dragging him towards the entrance to the castle. Where his trusty evil dragon awaited him. Sam had tried on several attempts to yell for help. He had aimed his yelling to Sir P since that Pegasus had great hearing. But realized sadly that no one could hear him not in this part of the planet. He had guessed this when the Evil Wizard had stormed in and told him that himself.

“You stupid boy. No one can hear you. I wanted you to think you could yell your way to freedom. But this area is a sound barer. I can hear them but they can not hear you. So yell all you want for anyone to help you. No one will come. The only ones that can hear you now are you silly mom and stupid sister and they will not be alive much longer once we get back here how ever long this may take. So there! Let us go now and get to work on taking over your world!”

By afternoon Evil Wizard had dragged Sam to the door way entrance. Sam had been fighting him the whole way to not open the door. But of course the door opened for Sam and since the Evil Wizard was right there the door had let them both in.

Once inside their grandparents home the Evil Wizard had almost tortured it on sight before recalling he needed a way to get back home. “Okay you stupid child. Do you understand me? Do not tell your grandparents anything or they will be tortured like the rest of you. I will not have mercy as I planned and kill them when I see them whenever that is. Let us get out of here and leave this house for I must figure out how I will win and kill all humans of your world!” The Evil Wizard dragged poor Sam through the front door out onto the lawn. He glared up at the sun in the sky. “You only have ONE sun? Well isn’t that swell! I hope you have more than one moon? I am guessing not so. Ugh. This world makes me sick. To think of years of imaging it now it is horrible worse then I have ever seen. Does magic even exist here? I doubt so I doubt it!” Evil Wizard growled dragging Sam down the street towards the main city.

Sam had been thinking about things while being dragged along. He wanted to scream out but no one seem to notice either of them. He had no idea why this was. But he wondered if his world only had one sun and one moon if that would have any affect on the magic the wizard possessed. He did not want to suggest this but let Evil find out for himself. They reached the city in no time as the wizard seemed to be able to walk as fast as if he were flying but he had not used one bit of magic yet in this world. Not one bit had been used from the running to the going to town.

Meanwhile back on Planet Blue. The creatures had gathered and began their descent onto the castle dark at night. By morning they had reached the gates. Ready to storm it and battle out the wizard where ever he might be. Grandpa was at the head of the line with the humans mostly hiding behind the other creatures all ready to battle and rescue if there was anyone left to do so. The darkness had gathered with them as if to fight them every step of the way. As dawn approached they got ready to storm the gates.

Chapter 11

Sam and Sarah climbed through the door just as the suns were barely in the sky. They gathered their stuff behind the bush and attempted to get situated before going forward.

“Sir P does not know we are coming here does he? He does not know we have been gone for two weeks. I am betting that they all think we are not coming back at all. I wish we did not have to leave. What good did it do? Do you really think we are any safer then we was two weeks ago? I do not think so at all!” Sarah was upset looking around. “We missed so much who knows what happened. We could have lost Sally maybe she is gone or something else….” Sarah sighed and looked at her brother who was just staring off at the sky.

“Okay I think we can just deal with all this later on. I think the most important thing is being safe and talking to Sir P. Let us go to the mountain and call him to us so we can go and see Sally. I want to speak to her as soon as possible. Did you bring those photos grandpa had for us? The ones of her and us and dad? They are very important…” Sam began walking towards the mountain with Sarah coming behind him.

Once they had climbed the mountain and were waiting for Sir P they noticed the rain clouds. “Is it going to rain? I thought it never rained here…” Sarah looked worried and so did Sam. They both stared at the gathering clouds noticing the lightning in the distance and hearing the low growling thunder.

Sir P came at that moment and smiled at the kids. “I thought you had left us for good. It is SO good to see you guys again. Thank you for coming back. I am told to report you to the King and Queen upon your arrival so you are wanted at once please get on and we shall go fast. There is a storm brewing in the distance incase you did not notice it…”

And off the twins flew on Sir P over the sky and over the storm. They flew higher then they had ever flown. Sam and Sarah thought they could almost touch the suns they were so high in the sky. Once they were high enough and the storms below them they continued towards the castle while flying over the storms were scary they could still hear the thunder and see the lightning going on below them. The castle was not yet in the rain area but it was getting closer and fast. Flying to the gate Sir P dropped the twins off.

“I am going to go seek shelter in their barn area with their horses. Do not worry about me. I will come back soon as you are done. Just call if you do not see me.” Sir P took off flying towards the horse area and was gone before they could say anything back.

Sam and Sarah walked quickly into the castle and waited to be announced. The King and Queen smiled at them when they finally were allowed to go in.  The three kids came running in shouting and hugging Sam and Sarah. They twins just smiled back waiting to be spoken to by the royal family.

“Sam. Sarah. Welcome back to our world. I hope it was not too harsh staying away for two weeks from us. We have been monitoring The Evil Wizard while you were gone and he seems to lost interest. We can not say for sure what he does up there and since he does not usually bother with visitors it is key that you do not go to the dark forest area at all and stay in any area but that area. The dark area seems to grow so just beware of it and know we will keep you as safe as possible as long as you are visitors to our world…” The King stopped talking while the Queen began to speak. “Yes our kids are so excited to see you again. Feel free to hang out here till the storm passes but I have no promise it will pass for a good day or so. I hope you do not mind staying here while it does. Is this okay? We can give you shelter and food it will be alright…”

Sam and Sarah looked out the windows in the tall castle and watched the now pouring rain come down. Then they looked back at the King and Queen. “Sure this will be fine. We did not bring much with us just our backpacks which we are wearing. Our tent will be okay it will get wet but I am not too worried we did not bring much else with us this time we packed rather fast not knowing how long we would stay…” Sam said Sarah looked worried at them. “Have you heard anything about Sally? Is she still living here?” She asked quietly.

The Queen spoke first “Sally is always going here she never leaves her shop it is doing so well since you to came and cleaned. I have heard she asks about you since you stopped coming for two weeks so please go and visit her soon as this rain clears. Or is that why you came was to speak to her?” The Queen looked curiously at the children waiting for their reply.

“Well we came to find out if she would speak to us yes. You see she is our mother she came here right after we were born and she got stuck here because she was gone too long from our world. According to your history books you can bring people back with you if you can convince them but they must be willing. We brought proof too. Our parents died in a fire and we did not find out about all this till only recently so having a living parent alive even she does not remember us like that is good enough.” Sam said looking at them.

Sarah looked on the verge of tears. “We was just worried she might have left. We do not want to lose our only parent alive even if she does not remember us…” sniffing Sarah tried to hold back crying. She was in front of the King and Queen after all no time to act like a baby! Sam put his arms around his sister so she could hide her face till she stopped looking so miserable.

As the day wore on the twins played with the royal kids and had a lot of fun talking and chatting. No television, no radio and no games the kids had to learn what they did for fun. They did look at their library and tour the castle all while the rain continued to fall heavily around them.

When it was dinner time they ate with the royal family at the large banquet table in the great hall. The twins sat across from each other smiling. “I have to admit this is the best time we have had in a while.” Sam said looking at everyone. “And to eat with the King and Queen and royal family is the best thing yet. Thank you so much for having us again.” Sarah looked around at everyone before saying “Yes thank you so much it has been a lovely day. Probably the best day I have had to spend when it was raining.”
After their dinner Sam and Sarah played some more with the kids. When they felt tired the royal children went to bed. Sam and Sarah were too wired to sleep so they were in the library till it was very late at night.

“Check this out. They have fiction books here I have never heard of before. This is just so cool!” Sam was pointing to a section of books with titles that were in other languages and made no sense at all but it was nothing the twins had ever encountered before.

Finally Sam and Sarah decided to go to bed. They had a huge guest room all to themselves complete with blankets and pillows. It was very comfortable. Each of them in one large bed.

Even being tired and it being late neither Sam nor Sarah could go to sleep at first. The rain had still been coming down all night and it did not look to be letting up any time soon. Sarah was looking out the window which was an open window so she could almost feel the rain coming on her as it blew past. It was not a large window but it was enough to see what was going on. “Hey Sam. If we can convince Sally to come home with us we should do it soon. I do not want to be caught in the Evil Wizards wicked plans. That does not sound fun at all.” Sarah looked back at her brother. He was looking at one of the books he had borrowed from the library.

“I think we should just take it a bit slow I do not know when Sally will come with us. I hope she is willing to come with us tomorrow or whenever it stops raining. But till then we need to remember this is her home. She does not know we are her kids or that she is from our world. She has lived here a long time and who knows how long she has lived here for real the time difference is crazy. She could have been here seven years in our time but that could be fourteen in hers. So I guess we should just give her time and see what happens. We can come back if she does not want to. We can do a lot of things to make her want to come with us or not want to. She likes us enough to want to see us again so I am sure there is something there. She must realize there is something there.” Sam stopped talking and looked at Sarah who looked so tired.

“I am going to try to sleep Sam. Good night.” Sarah climbed in the bed and disappeared behind the pile of blankets and pillows. She was asleep in no time snoring lightly when Sam finally closed his eyes and went to sleep too. The rest of the night the rain pounded away on the castle and the twins dreamt of happier times and things to come in the future.

The next morning as the suns rose in the sky the rain appeared to be slowing down. But it was still coming down light and steady when the royal family awoke. Sam and Sarah were allowed to sleep in and slept in a bit longer before waking up themselves.

Breakfast was at the smaller but still large table nearer the kitchen. The castle was huge. The King and Queen smiled at the twins when they came out to join them. “Did you sleep alright? Was the room okay? We do not have guests a lot and those are the rooms we usually use for them…” The King smiled at them kindly while the Queen looked on.

Sam spoke up for both of them. “Took us a while to get sleepy but we did sleep well once we did get to do so as those beds are so comfortable and huge. I think Sarah there got lost in hers. Haha.” Sam laughed at his part of the table and then stopped. Sarah looked at him as if she was seriously annoyed. “Yeah I slept well thank you. Those beds are too cozy.”

After breakfast the rains had appeared to have stopped so that Sam and Sarah finally got ready to leave. The skies were still clearing but the suns were shinning bright already.

The King and Queen smiled at them “you are free to go whenever you want. We have already called Sir P to take you to the village. Thank you for the visit. Do come again.” And the twins were off to find Sir P and go to the village to see Sally.

The suns broke through the clouds just as Sam and Sarah arrived at the village determined to find Sally and bring her home with them. Sir P. had finally helped them out in the one area they needed to know something about.

“I hear you guys are on a mission to bring home your mom? Sally? She is such a dear lady here she only came here around ten years ago from your world. But like all who stay most on purpose in her case accident she forgot it all within a month. The thing is most people who stay do not want to go back because no one comes here to make them come home with them. You guys have a fighting chance just by coming. But the pictures, the fact she has taken a liking to you are all sure signs this could work and you could get her to go with you.” Sir P. smiled as he landed. “I do want to tell you if you succeed she needs to be taken to the King and Queen there is a thing they do for those who leave here. This only applies to those visitors we do not normally allow our kind to leave our world for yours but since she is not like that she can go but they need to tell her things and what not. So please take her there as soon as you can. Good luck you two!” Sir P. took off for the skies before the twins could say anything else to him.

Locating the store as quickly as they could Sam and Sarah walked into the doors of The Everything Shop as if it were a normal day out not that they were about to change someone else life and their own in the same moment.

Sally was busy helping a customers when Sam and Sarah walked through the door. But the moment she was free she rushed over to them. “I am SO happy to see you two. Are you here for more clothes or just to come hang out? I missed you so much. And business has been doing so well since you cleaned up the store I am so happy about that. If you need anything take it no favor needed you did a job worth two free things no problem…” Sally paused realizing that this was not why they had come.

Sally had spent the past few weeks thinking of these two kids often. Not just as visitors but the connection she had felt for them. She was worried more than most they would not come back. She had even been talking to the King and Queen, Sir P. and anyone else that knew them personally to find out all she could about and then especially to find out if they were coming back or they were gone for good. So their arrival today was more than perfect timing for her. She wanted to see them more than ever and was generally happy to see them for this reason alone.

Sam and Sarah looked at each other and then tried to not blurt out what they wanted to say at the same time. They tended to say things together always on the same brain waves as most twins are. Sam went first. “Sally can you take a break or something and close the shop? We have something important to talk to you about.”

Sally looked around there was no one else in the store at that moment and she has been dying for a break anyways before they had come in. She quietly put the closed for lunch sign on the door and locked it. Turning back to the twins she waited to hear what they had to say.

Sarah began right then. “You may want to sit down for this. Sally? You are not from this world. I know you probably think you are born and raised like most of the humans here except for the occasional visitor or someone who wants to and comes to stay for good. But you are not. There is more to it. You are from our world, you came here about ten years ago right after our father and you had us. You got lost and he was never able to find you. About a month after you disappeared and were not found you lost your memory and thought you were always here. I am sure this must be crazy…”

Sally interrupted them right then. “Wait! What? Are you serious… This might sound strange but I always had this feeling. I can only recall being here and I can not recall not being here. But there is this gap I still always felt that began when I got here. I did not know that is what it meant. I never knew why I did not have a mother and father a husband and kids. I never knew. I just got here and fell in love with the people the shops. I was so into people I wanted to know what it would be like to work for them. So this shop was open and they did not want to sale it for much of anything cause business was so bad. So they sold it to me quick as they come. With no questions asked and here we are ten years later… Tell me more please!” She looked expected at them.

“Well we have photos to prove this all to you. You lived with our dad and married him. I know you was happy but you were feeling a bit overwhelmed our Grandpa told us from having twins and having them so young in your twenties right after being married. I guess you just felt the need to get away so dad started taking you here and one day you went without telling him cause you felt that need. We never saw you again. Dad got married a year later and the lady we thought our mom died in a fire with him a month ago which is why we are living with our grandparents now at their house and that is how we found the secret door. This was fate all of it. We never knew about you or this till we got here to this shop and needed your help. Thought you looked a bit familiar but till we asked around and got some answers did it finally make any sense…”Sam smiled at her handed the stack of photos.

Sam and Sarah had gathered the copies from their grandparents as theirs had burned in a fire. There was a picture of their parents dating, one of their proposal, marriage, pregnancy, the birth of the twins and the family together just weeks before this all happened. All set in a nice little book which Sally was now looking at. And she was crying! They did not have to convince her of anything she believed it just by their telling her.

The rest of the day the twins helped Sally with the store straightening like last time but laughing. She wanted to know all about them their lives and all that had gone on since she left them.

“So tell me what do you guys do for fun? Do you have hobbies? When is your birthday? Anything you want to tell me please do!” Sally smiled at them expectantly.

Sam looked at Sarah and shrugged before speaking. “Okay. Basics. We are eight years old we were born five minutes apart. We love soccer it’s a game where you kick a ball around with your feet and are not allowed to use your hands. We both love running and playing. I play drums she plays guitar and sings. We are both a bit tall for our age cause of our dad he was tall. I guess you are a bit tall too. Haha. Um. We both read and are very smart top of our classes. We are outgoing kids who make friends easily. Been really hard living these past few weeks without our parents cause we thought they both died…” Sam stopped talking to allow Sarah some time.

“We really miss our mom and dad a lot actually. I cried a lot these past few weeks. Blue Planet has been our little way to get away from the reality of losing them. We have to go to this group for people who lost people as a therapy to make us feel better. Went one time and it sucks cause most of the people there are not kids. I guess Grandma was going to get us another group. We live with them they are great you will love them! I believe your parents are still alive too but oddly enough we never knew who they were much because of you being gone. We thought our moms parents were our only other grandparents and its just her mom that is alive. I have no idea about yours though guess we can find out when we get home. Lots to do. Soon as you close we can go see about going home!” Sarah ran and hugged Sally both of them started crying. Sam rolled his eyes but went in for a hug too all three of them crying when a customer walked in.

Sally had to compose herself before speaking to them. Sam and Sarah went back to work as it was almost closing time they did not want to have too much to do at the end. Once the customer was gone and the door was locked and closed Sarah and Sam asked Sally one important question they had been dying to do so. “What will happen to the shop? Will you sale it to someone? If you leave tonight who can run it?”

For a second Sally stood thinking before replying to them. “You know I was thinking about that since you guys told me earlier. Cause I really do want to go home to you. I spoke to someone while you were on break earlier what will happen is the shop will be auctioned off as soon as I leave and will be closed till someone can take care of it. No problem I do not care I am going home!”

Sarah, Sam and Sally all got ready to go the castle. Sir P. arrived with a friend. Another winged Pegasus a girl this time who was pink so she was a girl they guessed. She smiled at them. “Kids, Sally. I would like to introduce you to my wife her name is Miss P. She is coming around today to help Sally since I can not hold more than just Sam and Sarah. Let us get to the castle so you can go home.”

Sally climbed on Miss P. while Sam and Sarah climbed on Sir P. and the five of them flew off quickly towards the castle just as it began to get dark. The King and Queen was waiting for them to arrive.

Sam and Sarah waited in a room for Sally to speak to the royal family one last time. Sally was not nervous and walked in after being announced. The King spoke first to her. “Okay Sally here is what we need from you. You need to sign a paper here that says you are willing to leave on your own accord. No one is forcing you to leave this world you are doing so on your own. As a guests that stayed you are allowed to be both leave for good and come back as a guests whenever you want to and can find a door. Your store as you know will be auctioned off within the week. Feel free to take anything you want from there as it is your store any food, blankets anything at all. Then the rest will go to the new owner. If you have any questions feel free to ask them now or come back at some later time.”

“As far as we understand you will both remember this world and yours once you step back through The Secret Door at their grandparents house. You can reassume your old life and do what you want.” The Queen continued before adding. “And we will miss you here in our world. Ten years you have brightened the lives of everyone around us. But you will make those two adorable sweet kids very happy being their mom they have been through so much. You have our blessings. Any questions?”

Sally smiled at them shaking her head no. “Thank you so much. I will be leaving now tonight I hope!” Sally signed the paper and returned to Sam and Sarah. Then the five of them flew back to the shop where Sally stood for a few minutes just taking all of it in. She grabbed her favorite blanket, books and a few food items putting them in the bag she has always had a backpack that was rather large. It was all she had when she came here ten years ago so she kept it even if most of the stuff in it was food at the time. Then Sally came out and the five flew towards the Secret Door.

By this time it was very dark as Sam and Sarah and Sally went towards the door. Sam and Sarah waved good bye to Sir P promising to visit soon as did Sally. They thanked both Miss P. and Sir P. with apples and brushing before allowing them to go.

The four of them were chatting so loudly they did not notice the shadow figure behind them. They did not hear the growl or see the flash of gray as something jumped them. It was not until they were knocked out cold and waking up in a large bag that Sam, Sarah and Sally realized they had been kidnapped.
